Football Manager 2011: Official Announcement

This afternoon on Twitter, SI Games officially confirmed Football Manager 2011. A copy of the announcement video can be found on Youtube.Many of the confirmed changes are enhancements and improvements to already tried and tested systems that have been in the game the last 5 years:
- New contract negotiation system with enhanced agent system
- Enhanced training system and match preparation system
- Enhanced interaction system with new "Private Conversations" feature
- Enhanced news and subscriptions system, merging both news and inbox screens together
- Improved match engine, graphical enhancements and new "Emotion Engine", allowing better celebrations and appeals

So what is coming in October 2010 for Football Manager 2011. This is where you find out with Los Wonderkids new Football Manager Challenge League, ChallengeFM. Building on last years success of VersusFM which saw you playing Football Manager and collecting trophies and points for submitting completed challenges. After a 8 months of competition it was Mansy who won a copy of FM11 so who can win it this year. So what is new with this year, first it is the name. ChallengeFM. The reason is this year we are expanding the choices of how you interact and challenge with Football Manager. More of the changes will be announced in the following preview.

What you are about to read is totally unconfirmed, what appears to be leaked information about the upcoming Football Manager 2011 release (which hasn't actually even been confirmed yet!)What you see from this leak should be taken as a pinch of salt until the information is either confirmed or unconfirmed by SEGA or SI Games themselves.
Also leaked is a copy of the boxart for the game (found above) which carries on with the theme from every other FM release up 'til now.

Part 19: The Copa Libertadores
I've talked about my love for the Copa Libertadores briefly in other PPPaDH's but today I'm going to go into a wee bit more detail as to why I love the Copa Lib. The Copa Libertadores is basically the South American version of the Champions League, there is a round of qualifiers, then eight groups of four with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the second round, after the second round we reach the quarters and so on.
