...a database update that I saw not too long ago and I can't find it. It updated the game so newgens were generated in all loaded countires (I think?) not just the major ones (Germany, France ect). Can anyone tell me where to find it?

Hi guys, I had my saves all deleted by this stupid virus so started a Challenging game as Pompey. Decided not to alter much, just releasing and selling a few players, while buying 1. The Tactic im using is a 41212 with no Wing play whatsoever and it is doing well.

To keep you going here is the Transfer business I have done.

I think it is time SI bought this in. So you can teach your players how to play in certain gameplay situations. For example, my right winger always runs into the box and shoots from an acute angle, I would rather him square the ball up to my striker for a tap in.

This could easily be done using a whiteboard, with arrows choosing which way the pass goes in a certain situation. The player then works on it over the course of training and hopefully implements it during a match.

Anyone with me on this? How are would you make it better

Creating My Own Database

Okay, here's the story. I want to create a database which includes the real life club that I currently play for. The thing is, I have no idea about any of the technicalities of the FM editor and although I have ventured into it a couple of times, I have never really grasped how to do access the FM editor with ease. I'm also really lazy and rather than creating a whole league system with the league I play for in real life, I'd rather just replaced a current League 2 side in Engalnd and adopt this approach.

Which is where one of you readers come in.

I am seeking some help/advice/guidance on creating a database this why. Things include:

Player Creation (stats,information,etc)
Club Creation (information, background, finances, etc)
Staff Creation (stats,information, etc)

Just wondering if members could post some tips and advice on making said database, and if possible, create this database for download. Not epexcting that, but it would be amazing. Willing to devote some time do this.

I doubt anybody really cares but for those who do, here is where you can discuss the Indian Premier League.
The competition has been a great success since it started in 2008 generating huge revenue.
The third season commences tomorrow and in the UK ITV2 will cover it replacing Setanta Sports who are no longer around.. Holders Deccan Chargers will play Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai at 2.30GMT

The Chargers have the likes of Herschelle Gibbs (SA), Adam Gilchrist (AUS), Andrew Symonds (AUS), Ojha, RP Singh, Rohit Sharma, VVS Laxman (IND).
Kolkata have OA Shah (ENG), Hodge (AUS), Brendan Mcullum (NZ), Ishant Sharma (IND) to name a few.

I cannot understand why the press conferences are so overlooked.

Okay, maybe questions are repeatable, maybe it's the same all the time, but, when utilised wisely, it can bring confidence to your team. Even by saying that you will replace player X will player Y, if player Y is liked in the team, the whole team will be happy.

You can praise your players, you can give a confidence boost to your new signing, you can play mind games, you can show respect, you can, well, everything.

And it does have effect, it wasn't brought into FM to be just a placeholder, right?

For your info, I handle the every damn single press conference that I could.

The game is attempting to harness some of the raw energy of real football, but through a hyper-realistic lense. That means it looks a little like FIFA Street, but will hopefully have some deeper gameplay.

“A key feature is an over-the-shoulder viewpoint”

17 teams will be available in the game featuring some 230 professional footballers, plus 17 footballing legends. One key feature is an over-the-shoulder viewpoint for the game that will hopefully encourage multiplayer gaming. Pure Football will have online and offline multiplayer allowing four players at a time offline and one on one matches online. You will also be able to create your own footballer to play through the game with.

Ubisoft has Pure Football marked down for a May release and we’ll hopefully be able to tell you more soon

I dont know what to make of that. I guess some people will think it is brilliant while some will hate it. I would want to see more before I amke up my mind.

Roles: Centre of the Park

Alright folks,

Been a while since I last posted up something like this however is does follow in a similar way to my threads about partnerships up front and in the centre back positions. This time I'm looking at midfield. I usually play a 4-4-2 however sometimes I'll switch to a 4-5-1 (with my wingers in the attacking midfield positions). So, I either have to or three men in the centre of the park. My question is; what Roles would compliment each other in my situation. I currently use;

4-4-2
Advanced Playmaker (Support), Ball Winning Midfielder (Defence)

4-5-1
Advanced Playmaker (Support), Ball Winning Midfielder (Support), Anchor Man (Defend)

It seems to work but there is always room for improvement. Here are my first team midfielders...

...Jonsson, Alceu and Neyra normally play centre and I have Moralez out on the wing but I'll sometimes drop him into the middle.

Any help would be appreciated.

Basically, this is a thread where you can post players that you've found on your own, without scouting, just judged by the attributes, bought and got spot on!

I got a remarkable signing from the depths of South Africa. His name is Sehiolo Abia Nale!

I was linked with a player from Kaizer Chiefs, I looked at him but he didn't fit into my system. So I went to the Chiefs' squad, and I saw two strikers: him and Nale.

I looked at Nale, and BAM. Good stats (for Ekstraklasa level), young age, and most importantly, a little price tag of €50,000!

I couldn't scout him, because my board didn't let me, so I signed him.

And then, BANG.

He gets in 4 goals in space of 17 minutes. Astonishing!
