Basically, this is a thread where you can post players that you've found on your own, without scouting, just judged by the attributes, bought and got spot on!

I got a remarkable signing from the depths of South Africa. His name is Sehiolo Abia Nale!

I was linked with a player from Kaizer Chiefs, I looked at him but he didn't fit into my system. So I went to the Chiefs' squad, and I saw two strikers: him and Nale.

I looked at Nale, and BAM. Good stats (for Ekstraklasa level), young age, and most importantly, a little price tag of €50,000!

I couldn't scout him, because my board didn't let me, so I signed him.

And then, BANG.

He gets in 4 goals in space of 17 minutes. Astonishing!

I'll check him out as soon as i play the game,

you should consider buying Lukaku he's around 7-8 millions, age 16, finishing 17

Marko Marin is also good signing

I have done this regens. I set the scouts out to South Africa, in the rare hope that I find someone and then my scout stumbles upon a guy who has the potential to be better then Mathias Jorgensen. Best thing was that he got 2 years of playing because I wasn't allowed to sign him till he was 18 but I got him for 45K or so

I think you can hold on a bit until he turns 18 or so, and snatch him then.

On the other side, his value could rise in the meantime :s

I signed Lukaku on my current game, I've been using him sparingly and declared him available for the reserves.

3 assists in 6 starts and 7 sub appearances shows he's still got some work to do to make the grade. Can't wait until he's 17 then I can send him out to my feeder club Preston.

Abel Salami is an hero. He plays in Poland somewhere.

And Willy Topp is the god of LLM.

I would have been inclined to agree if I didn't have to wait a whole fecking season for his wage demands to drop so I could sign him. Still pretty good when I signed him, although ended up becoming a super sub and he could only seem to score off the bench.

Best signing would have to be Ibrahima Thiam on a free. Bournemouth in the first season have a transfer embargo until the end of October, only allowing you to offer players £150 p/week to sign for you. Pretty much all the decent players on the free market were snapped up long ago, but I stumbled across this guy who looked perfect for my set-up. He didn't have much pace, but I play with a lump up forward anyway (36 year old Steve Fletcher) so it looked like he could fit in perfectly.

Ended his first season smashing in 16 goals in 24(5) games in League 2, before going on to hit 24 goals in 42 games in League 1. Totally failed in the Championship, but for the lower leagues he is a God.

Don't have a decent screenie to show because I'm the 5th season now, but he's already hit 5 in 5 for Mansfield in League 2 at 32 years of age. Still got it!

Hello, first post.

Ive been watching the forums for a few months while playing FM 10 but now i need to make a post.

Lukaku, bought him from the start and let him play as youth player and reserve, didn't use him in matches as i had bent and milevskyi.

But the guy just kept growing, i had kadlec as well but wasnt nearly as fast in development. Bent turned 30 and I was considering a new striker, i got vela, but thought I could do with a better third player than bent. My friend said to use lukaku, but I was having doubts. Well. i'm not anymore.

He is 22 years old and was top goalscorer of my team last season where i won PL and uefa cup (i play sunderland atm)

As you can see, he is a beast.

This picture shows how much playtime he had.

Yeah I hope so too, he's well worth it. I just don't understand how he could get so good from being on the reserve/youth team.

My friend picked GK, Silviu Lung jr as his main keeper. Bought him at the beginning where his stats are like this:

Attached Image: GK lung jr.JPG

His stats now are a  lot better, and he's a great player to take if you need a good second keeper. best part is the price, around 200-300k for him at the beginning. Later his stats looked like this:

May also recommend Jonjo shelvey. Man city bought him in my game, and after being tortured by him in every match against them since, I am buying him in my next game.

Their jonjo looks like this:

Silviu Lung has been a great prospect for a few games now, I don't remember seeing him that good though
