Hi guys, I had my saves all deleted by this stupid virus so started a Challenging game as Pompey. Decided not to alter much, just releasing and selling a few players, while buying 1. The Tactic im using is a 41212 with no Wing play whatsoever and it is doing well.

To keep you going here is the Transfer business I have done.

Got about 5 matches left then will do an Update of the season

English Premiership 2009/2010

Table
Spoiler

So we did what we set out to do and succesfully avoided relegation. We only survived by Four points though and the Board intentionally wanted Mid-Table but they aren't that sad. There were many fine performers and the only Player we bought was One of them. Charlie Adam was well worth the 1.5 million we payed for him. I didn't expect much from him in half a season but he did very well, i would like to seemore from him this season

Future

I have to look at the current Squad and just think "Poor". The Squad doesn't have many stand-out players and alot of them are Old players that don't do as good as they did. One example of this is David James. James played exelently in the fist 3-4 months but then as he is getting older his age caught upto him and his poor performances meant that from November to February Begovic has been taking over in Net (And quite impressing me)

Positions needed:

GK - James is crap now and Begovic is ok but not that good
RB: Vanden Borre is going back from his loan and I aint buying a DM to play at RB
DM: Poor old players are in this Position at the moment, a young player that Dives into Tackles could be brought in.
ST: Utaka and Nugent are good but they aren't 20+ goals a season good. We need to buy someone who will not stop scoring!

Edit: TY Neavsey for the Interest :)

Your using a different patch to me, mines abit more updated than yours and you've got a younger goal keeper than Hart and Ashdown. Is Hart on the list for you?

Begovic becomes so good, it's unbelievable! Keep him as your GK.

And well done on staying up, good luck for next season

I do :), I just let the Poor ones leave. I like to take Pride in youth, so thats why I would rather have 15 decent ones than loads of crap ones. I also let alot of Poor Reserve players go too :)
