With Football Manager 2010 out in just a few days, You have the chance to sign up to be a part of my latest and first FM10 forum sign-up, International Superstar. Read on for more details.
What Is International Superstar?
International Football is something every player would like to taste, but very few do get the opportunity. Now is your chance. For every international event, your football superstar has the opportunity to score points. If and when he gets called up, your player will start to gain points. For more info on the scoring system, see below.
With the world cup coming up, your player has every chance to win the upcoming International Football Superstar of the Year Award. The rest of the qualifiers are yet to come and could be the first chance for your player to grab some early points and an early lead.
Each player will be a striker. Each player will be of equal calibre (CA/PA) with varied stats depending upon your sign up preferences. There are two places (or more) available for every European Nation. However, this you will not get to choose, each player will be randomly assigned to a country within Europe, Some could end up with a good nation, some could not.
How are the points calculated?

App = 3
Sub App = 2
Goal = 10
Assists = 5
MoM = 6
Yellow Card = -5
Red Card = -10
Top Scorer In World Cup/Euro Cup = 30
First to score 25 goals = 10
First to score 50 goals = 20
First to score 100 goals = 50
U21/20/19s will result in half points.

How will the updates work?:
I will update all goings on to do with the players and their international career, whether they have been called up, dropped, scored or sent off etc. Every now and then there may be the opportunity to alter your players stats, depending on if there is an in game editor available.

Simply pick 1 of the 3 options in each category, these will determine the stats given to your players.

In a Nutshell
You sign up with the details filled in, I add you to the FM10 database which then gets processed and I report back on your international appearances. For each appearance, goal, yellow card etc, you will gain (or lose) points. Whoever has the most points at the end of the year will win the International Football Superstar of the Year Award. This can then be won by some one else in the second year and so forth. Any questions, ask me.

I hope it will be as good, or better, hopefully the players will be picked fairly regularly for the international squads. Oh, and I plan on doing the los wonder manager thing again too, I will do it if this fails or after I have completed this sign up
