The Universe blows my Mind. . .

" Comet Hale-Bopp the "Comet of the Century" is seen here gracing Stonehenge during its spectacular apparition of Spring 1997 - a photograph never to be repeated in our lifetime as Comet Hale-Bopp will not return until the year 4380. "

We're literally just nothing..

I wonder if we'll actually get to visit another occupied planet...

It's pretty incredible when you think how vast the universe is to be honest. I hope one day we actually find out a lot more about the world we live in; although we're making big advancements all the time, you can't help but feel we're pretty far behind.

You never know mate, there could be people from other Universes already here but they could be so advanced in their galaxy that our radars etc. simply can't track their entry.

Well if they were do you not think they would have done something by now?

It is hard to believe that we are the only race in the universe. There must be somebody out in another planet

How cool would it be too meet an alien

I dont believe in so-called aliens. Despite the fact that Universe is very big, we know a lot about space around Earth. We know millions of possible places where life could exist, and there isn't any life out there.

So if extraterrestial living organisms alive somewhere, either they'll die before we'll come or it would be so far away we couldn't make it there.

Maybe they don't know about us either, and when they see us (and we see them) they launch a super attack on us and then we all die?

But what if in their universe or their planet they've already got stuff like that and they are advanced ahead of us. No one knows!

Scary thing is, those pictures are what it looked like billions of years ago. Some of those stars are nothing now.

It'll be near enough impossible to tell if life is there never mind getting there, if it takes billions of years for light to get there, god help us in a spacecraft.

If there Is another human-like life out there, then hopefully their planet Isn't as fucked up as ours Is.

Aren't we scheduled to be sucked up by that huge star In a few thousand years?
